When Kendall contacted me to shoot her wedding I was THRILLED. Why? Because I absolutely adore this family. A couple of years ago I met her sister as her and her fiancé pulled up to my home for their engagement photos. Kaitlyn, Morgan and my husband, Caleb and I hit it off so well they ended up staying for dinner and played with our son Levi. Natalie shot their wedding and then the opportunity came up again to shot their newborn photos. I eagerly jumped at that offer. When Kaitlyn’s younger sister, Kendall came to me I was first thrilled that she had become engaged and honored that their family would come back to The Silhouette Studio. The bond between these two sisters is undeniable and anyone can clearly see their love and support for one another.
So last year I met Kendall and Joe on a personal level during their engagement session. They were easy together and casual. They possessed the type of love that seems to have been written ages ago. Their wedding day was no different. Often times I see couples caught up in the hustle and bustle of their wedding day, stressed to say hello to everyone, but these two would spot each other across the room and just gravitate back to one another. With Kendall’s vivacious spirit and Joe’s cool demeanor, they couldn’t be a better fit.
Best of luck, love and many wishes <3
Sometimes hands tell a story of emotion and love better than facial expressions. The love between Kendall and her father is clear that this Daddy loves his baby girl.
When Kendall turned to give her big sister a hug, I was beyond thrilled as we had captured a similar photo at Kaitlyn’s wedding!
There it is, that effortlessly, I-will-always-be-with-you kind of love.
