This wedding. THIS WEDDING.
This was one heck of a spectacular, well planned event. I knew that it would be nothing less of that, considering I sat side-by-side in design school with the lovely bride, Korey. She all class. Each detail was perfectly thought out, not only complimenting her personal style, but the venue’s architecture and main design elements as well. Heck, I think she even ordered perfect lighting and a beautiful day from the big guy above as well.
With every detail in line, Korey and Joe spent the day incredibly laid back and just kind of taking it all in. You can tell that this couple enjoyed every second of their family and friends and most importantly, their love. The ceremony was a beautiful merging of not only two souls and two families; it was a merging of two faiths, Catholic and Jewish. They honored traditions of each family during both the ceremony and reception. This made for a lively and totally unique party that I have never quite experienced before. There was so much rich culture, right down to the custom cookies that they served.
Just knowing Korey and Joe, and how long they have been together, it was a great thing to witness them tying the knot. It was even more of a privilege to share in their first moments as husband and wife. See we as photographers, are honored with some of the first minutes of a couple starting thier lives in unity and marriage, as we are typically alone with them right after the ceremony to take thier portraits. Those moments are magical and hold so much tenderness and love. It keeps me thankful in my own marriage to be constantly reminded of the beauty and freshness of this sacred union.
That right there, those moments, the moments you are about to see; this is my life and why I do what I do.

Sarah is prompt, professional, on-point, and incredibly talented. But, more than that she's fun, and easy to be around, she makes you feel comfortable. My husband and I are not really "in front of camera" people, but Sarah managed to make us feel at ease and happy and (if nothing else) make the pictures look beautiful. Sarah is also a wizard. We got our pictures back SO QUICKLY. They're edited, there are a ton of them, they're beautifully shot. You can tell she loves what she does. You can really see it in the way she cares for you.
