April has a way of wrapping everything in softness—the light, the air, the quiet promise of new beginnings—and Jenna and Ty’s wedding day felt like it was made entirely of those moments.

The decor leaned into the beauty of the season: delicate blooms in soft pastels, fresh greenery woven through every detail, and candlelight that seemed to glow a little more gently against the spring palette. Nothing felt overdone—just thoughtful, intentional, and full of life, like the season itself.
But what stood out most wasn’t just how beautiful everything looked—it was how it felt.
Jenna and Ty have that kind of love that doesn’t need to be performed. It shows up in the way they look at each other when they think no one’s watching, in the way Ty instinctively reaches for Jenna’s hand, in the way her laughter finds him across a crowded room. There’s a natural rhythm between them, something steady and joyful that made the entire day feel grounded in something real.
That same energy carried through their families. There was so much genuine laughter—big, unfiltered, can’t-help-yourself kind of laughter—and the kind of closeness you don’t have to question. It was clear that this wasn’t just two people coming together, but two families who already felt connected in all the ways that matter most.
And on a personal note, this wedding held an especially meaningful place in my heart. It was such an incredible honor to capture Jenna and Ty’s day—not only because of who they are, but because this marks the third Flournoy sister wedding I’ve had the privilege of documenting. Being invited back, again and again, to witness and preserve these milestones is something I don’t take lightly. There’s a deep trust in that, and a sense of continuity that makes each celebration even more special.

Sarah is prompt, professional, on-point, and incredibly talented. But, more than that she's fun, and easy to be around, she makes you feel comfortable. My husband and I are not really "in front of camera" people, but Sarah managed to make us feel at ease and happy and (if nothing else) make the pictures look beautiful. Sarah is also a wizard.
